Olivier Nadeau

Olivier Nadeau considers himself a jack of all trades. His curiosity led him to explore numerous fields such as psychology, cinema, event planning and law. He found his way in computer science where he found stimulation in the variety of projects he worked on. After a two years career as an analyst programmer, he wanted to face new challenges, so he decided to pursue his career at ÉTS in software engineering.

He sees in the 2017 China mission an opportunity to learn about a new culture in addition to seeking opportunities for future abroad studies and work, China being a country with  a strong economic development over the last few years. Having traveled in Europe in the past, he has discovered that expatriation widens his perception and forces him to leave his comfort zone in order to adapt to local, cultural and social realities.

Olivier is a student who likes teamwork. He brings out the best of his teammates. He is a positive, enthusiastic and creative person. He is able to stay calm in problem-solving situations and quickly adapt to them.

In his spare time, he explores the possibilities of creating a video game. He also volunteers in an NPO to maintain their website and give training on the matter.
